After bearing so much pain
That pain was forgotten
The moment I set my eyes
On your tiny face
I reached out to touch
Your soft tiny hands
Something surged through my heart
And I knew
I would love forever
You are a special gift
The best I’ve ever had
I thank the wonderful Lord
For a gift so great
Bestowed upon me
I stared at you
Wanting to stare at you forever
And hold forever in my arms.
