Bumblebee Delight Poem by Marilyn Lott

One of the things I love most
About the warm summer days
Are the sweet humming sounds
Of a Bumblebee as it plays

For that’s what it seems to me
As they buzz around the flowers
Oh, I could sit in my garden
To watch and listen for hours

I have a special sweet flower
That attracts those Bumblebees
Its delicate small blue blossoms
Really seem to gently tease

Because all summer long
And well into the fall
The Bumblebees swarm ‘round
Can’t seem get enough at all

They enjoy honey from this plant
Oh, it’s such a joyful sight
To watch from my flower garden
It’s truly a Bumblebee delight!
