Bullies Poem by Jon M. Nelson

Bullies

Rating: 5.0

Just because you're different,
Why does that make them tease?
They'll continue to do so,
Even if you beg them please.

What makes them think,
They're any better than you?
Don't they even realize,
That you have feelings too?

Is it low self-esteem,
Or a home life that is bad?
What makes them torment,
And make others so sad?

They push other people around,
Giving no thought to feelings.
They leave invisible scars,
That may never start healing.

You can't help but wonder,
What goes on in their mind.
As they torture other people,
And treat them so unkind.
