Building Life Upon A Wish Poem by Suki Nakamura

Building Life Upon A Wish

Rating: 5.0

Upon a wish shall she build
The pillar of her life

Upon her dreams shall she
Walk upon the sands of time

Every stair
Every star

And each night of this wishful thinking
Nothing & No One is that really Faraway

Each longing becomes
Touchable with the hands
Of your heart

Each Leaf Falling
Another hope for her drying land.

These words seem like an enchantment but that there is so much truth in them. I just realized, reading your words, that every wonderful thing comes to us, we achieve first with a dream of the thing, and only then can it become real for us. Thanks for all this beauty.

This poem captured my attention from the first two lines. It is a beautiful description of how important dreams and wishes are in a person's life and how they are the foundation that one may build their life upon. Beautifully written.
