Buffalo Dreams Poem by Marilyn Lott

Buffalo Dreams

Rating: 5.0

I’ve always loved the Buffalo
Out on the open plains
Nothing in the world compares
Majestic animals they’ll remain

Of course, there are special places
Where the Buffalo still roam
Like Yellowstone for instance
Many still call it their home

Their lovely massive heads
Are so handsome, wouldn’t you say?
And there’s nothing quite like
Watching their babies romp at play

But then there are other Buffalo
Oh, you should see how pretty
Of every color you can imagine
Statues that roam through the city

Yes, one of my favorite animals
Not so many around now it seems
But they are right at the top of my list
I’ll always have Buffalo Dreams!
