Bud Poem by Sudam Panigrahi

Bud

Yet to sip the cool sunshine,
Inside the sepals,
Dreams she to smile.
Bathing in the sunshine,
To hop and frolic,
To be at His feet and
In the braids of belle.

Alien evil bees,
Hobnobbed with native drones,
And cajoled the bud innocent,
On prowl.
Kissed and caressed,
Played with her beaut,
Evil stings entered
Her constricted musk pouch.

So jerking became the plucking,
Trembled the twigs.
Never did she blossom,
Dreams remained dreams.
She realized when,
Darkness covered her eyes then,
Before the sun rise,
Groped she in a dark den.

If buds plucked arrogantly,
Will there be garden
Sans flowers giggling?
