Brotherhood Poem by Ella Wheeler Wilcox

Brotherhood

Rating: 2.9

God, what a world, if men in street and mart,
Felt that same kinship of the human heart,
Which makes them, in the face of fire and flood,
Rise to the meaning of True Brotherhood.

Ella asking men-folk to stop and reflect and try to know what it means to be a man and yet human at the same time. So cleverly worded.
