Brooklyn Trees Or A Lesson For Hipsters Poem by Alfonso Siverls

Brooklyn Trees Or A Lesson For Hipsters

Roots running deep
Crisscrossing below ground
Brooklyn trees are old trees
Hipsters can’t change that
Trees, trees, trees
Bended by circumstances
Yet still standing
Noble and majestic
Weary and worn
Foliage and green
With history
Craved on their back
Can’t gentrify that
Brooklyn trees are old trees
Forever growing strong
