Brooklyn Poem by Matthew Foor

Brooklyn

On the day we first met
I will never forget
The endless tattoos that she bore
The fire in her voice
It gave me no choice
I wanted to know even more

Where did she come from
Why was she there
How did she get this far

She told me her story
A quaint allegory
She once was a dancing star

There's more to the story
A long oratory
But all you need to know
Is I fell for the girl
She fell for me
Lets watch the relationship grow....
