its breaking as we speak
the promise you failed to keep
its growing old and week, but you promised.
you swore to keep your word
a lie remains unheard
your memory is blurred, but you promised
love is what you said
and hate is what you dread
my mind is going dead, cause you promised
inside my secrets dwell
love pushed me and i fell
and now its just oh well, but you promised
you said you'd keep me warm
and hold me through the night.
in your heart i was alright, broken promise.
