Broken Man Poem by Walter C. Edwards

Broken Man

When a man falls to the side of the road,
do you pick him up or just let him go,
as a piece of road kill on highway of life,
as he struggles to get up wiping away his tears,
I am a honest man doing the best I could,
but then, I have become broken,
never thought I would.
