broken love

From the day i met you and soon became drowned in your eyes your beautiful eyes, and your laugh....the sound of pure happiness rang through my ears. As we started to love each other more and more each day i felt as if the world was just right as if we were connected. Everything i said or thought, you always finished my sentences. But as some people say love like that doesnt seem to last long.Your family disapproved, always trying to get in the way with our true love. I believed it was because they had never found that special someone like we did even though they were married and seemed happy, i knew that they did not find that one special person that made there heart skip a beat when they heard their voice. We came from two different worlds, i came from a hard working family and you had everything handed to you. They didnt like me because I was different. I was not proper how they put it.But to you I was everything you wanted but there. But soon came the day when you called me crying saying that we couldnt be, then all i heard was silence you had hung up. I ran to your house to see you but when i got there you were gone, only tire tracks were there. Now i have grown and still i search for you.

Poem of the Day

poet Alfred Lord Tennyson

It little profits that an idle king,
By this still hearth, among these barren crags,
Match'd with an aged wife, I mete and dole
Unequal laws unto a savage race,
