Broken Heart Poem by Aqua Flower

My aching heart
still shaken by my own words
that we should part
because continuing like this hurts
for it isn't enough
for my loving soul
it isn't enough
to only hear words that console
I need your loving touch
I need your presence so much
you want me for you own
yet I often am alone
wanting more of your time
and tolerance I can no longer find
and even though I plea
for us to break apart
deep down is my biggest fear
there will be no mending to my broken heart
