Broken Friendship Poem by Eliza Crawford

Broken Friendship

You call yourself a friend
Yet when I break, you laugh.

You call yourself a friend
But never offer your hand when I am crying on the ground.

You call yourself a friend
Though you really don't care.

I've tried to be a friend
Yet every attempt was shot down.

I've tried to be a friend
But you don't want any part of me.

I've tried to be a friend
But now I won't.
I've given up.
You've taken all motivation from me.
We are not friends.
We were never friends.
