I sometimes wonder when you touch him
Do you ever think of me
When you look into his eyes
Is it me you really see

I could not be there with you now
And you chose not to wait
I was willing to sacrifice
But now it's much too late

Have you forgotten all the memories we shared
You threw it all away like it didn't mean a thing
Couldn't you see our future
And the happiness it could bring

I remember you once told me
I was the only girl for you
What happened to that dream
You know, I shared it too

Everything is broken
Things are all a mess
You hurt me so badly
But yet I love you no less

Does the heart really go on
Can you ever love again
Right now it seems so impossible
I guess only time will tell in the end
