Broken Crutch Poem by David Darbyshire

Broken Crutch

Rating: 4.0

This morning I broke my crutch,
for you it might not be much.
But for me it's big deal you see,
cause now I can't go meet my baby.

I guess I could hop,
or take a taxi chop-chop.
I suppose I could take a wheel-chair,
I prefer to dance in like Fred Astaire.

This is a fun poem with a nice swing to it. I particularly liked the last line - Fred Astair is sublime! Enjoyed this very much. love, Allie xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
