Broken Poem by Kev Elmer

To push myself up, I'll break from the inside.
I've been dead for so long, I'll rise again.
I cant do it on my own, I've got your hand.
I wont give in, I wont lay down and die.
Life is to precious, it's been slipping past.
Broken inside, I'll fight on.
I lost the battle, I'll win the war.
The past behind me, future awaits.
For a start, to get to my feet.
I know I'll get there, with your aid.
Then to heal inside, my broken soul.
