British Tabloids Poem by Professor Dr. Stanley Collymore

British Tabloids

Do you have any perception of what the
truth is really about or, for that matter,
even care? Or does your obsessive
fascination with all things
prurient comprise your
one and only true
interest in life?

Therefore, whether or not the story
you’re after actually fits the bill
you always seek to make it
so; and the reason why is
very clear, as every
intelligent observer knows.
For the bigger your daily
circulation is the more
adverts you can sell;
so integrity and
fairness can
all go to
hell!
