Bringer Of The Lost Cause Poem by Aris Sira

Bringer Of The Lost Cause

He runs till his feet are sore
He talks till his mouth is dry
He believes what he thinks is real
And is a dog fed a bone of steel
He may choke but its too late to tell
His stomach wont produce the yell
He brings about the theory of a cause
When his fate is already up to the gods
Whats left for this man
His body returning back to the sand
His word meaning as much as he bone he digested
And his blood as thick as the cause he was intrusted
A cause in which he gave himself
To defy the thing that would cause his death
