Bright Hope Poem by Chelsea Jean

Bright Hope

When it's grey and cloudy
And the skies just pour and pour,
Have you ever doubted
That the sun would shine once more?

After being frozen
By a winter's frost and snow,
Have you ever questioned
Whether springtime buds would show?

Sometimes life brings cloudy skies,
And cold and wintry days-
These, too, will melt away beneath
Hope's bright warming rays
