Bright And Beautiful Poem by Gill Moore

Bright And Beautiful

In a norman church
on the edge of the marsh
we gathered together
one bright day in March
she entered the church
a vision in white
she sparkled and glistened
her dress caught the light
in white lace and satin
and ribbons of blue
she walked down the aisle
to her love ever true
in front of the altar
they stood hand in hand
and wed with a kiss
and a golden band
the organ played music
the choristers sang
and all over the village
the wedding bells rang
