Bridge Of Sight Poem by Ken Duffy

Bridge Of Sight

Her smile tracks me across the room
My heart beats faster, I smile back
A bridge of sight is now built
We cross, to meet in the middle

To slow music we embrace in dance
She trembled in my arms, or was that me
Would my kiss be to soon, I hoped not
Guiding my lips to hers, she meets mine

We laugh, talk, at ease in our company
I felt I had known her all my life
We made plans to see each other again
A load noise interrupts, and I awoke
