Bride Of The Afterlife Poem by G J Salgado

Bride Of The Afterlife

Everyone hangs onto her every word,
Waiting for her every thought to be heard.
Her thoughts are her very own,
All see through her eyes what she has shown.
But do you see what she sees?
When it is her that you want to be.
Obsessed with this Goddess,
You attempt to steal her success.
Stolen are her ideas that you have taken,
Until that is not enough and murder has awakened.
But her talent cannot be obtained,
You cannot have what is within her brain.
She is a mastermind who remains as death's wife,
Because for yourself, you have taken her life.
Now she sees what you see,
And she is everything in between.
You will spend eternity being taunted,
By her ghost you are forever haunted.
A kiss to say to goodnight to all of us,
What are the last words from the Ultimate Poetess.
Say goodbye to the rest of your life,
For she is where she belongs as the Bride of the Afterlife!
