Bride Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Bride

Innocent as lilacs in spring
Hear the joy of church bells ring
Your smile bright as moonlight
Hope! Yes hope in the moonlight
Love circles like divine poses
I am the cynic with red roses
Lady of fire brings a new day
The curtain opens a garden play

Together we face the intimate sea
Love brings newborn leaves
Blue as azure sapphires of time
Troubadours like diamonds shine
Despair not for life is noble jewels
Elegant and fragile stars rule
Daily rivers where songbirds fly
A bride walks the aisle in white
