Breeze Poem by Alex McCullough

Breeze

I walk through these fields again,
Listening to the wind as it surrounds me,
And though it seems to be gentle,
I hold onto your feelings,
So they don't get blown away.
Remembering our time together,
It makes me feel like a cloud,
The exact same way I felt,
When I looked into your eyes.
The clock ticks again and again,
As I sit in this dull seat,
Waiting for the sound that will release me,
And let me run into your arms!
In this life we lose and gain things,
Things that are important or have meaning,
But the voice in my heart tells me,
To hold onto your these feelings,
No matter what they mean!
Don't leave me alone,
My soul cries out to you,
Making me wish I was a breeze,
So I could be with you,
And maybe we could become whole.
