Breath We Take Poem by Saltedpeanut Blank

Breath We Take

Rating: 5.0

With each breath
The sea washes over the shore
As the frothy foam seeps in
Leaving its foot print in the sand

With each breath
A flame is extinguished
As it flickers its life away
Smoldering embers release their heat

With each breath
A sunset is formed with majestic hues of color
Purple blending into magenta
In turn giving way to the vivid orange of the sun

With each breath
A temple raised to Aphrodite
Young loves heart pulsing feverishly
Tearing down the walls of time

With every breath
A pain of ones last breath overwhelms
The torment ensues from within
To be forced to breathe without ones Helena

With every breath
It feels as the first breath ever taken
With the knowledge that every breath
Takes me one breath closer to you

And I, forgot to take a breathe while reading this beautiful poem! No difference between written words and music notes! At end, a lighten face, a smile and clapping hands, thank you for share,10
