Breath deep, close your eyes and get ready
The time has come, brace yourself and stand steady
We all come to this point, this time in our lives
This time to see who makes it, who survives
The gate begins to open revealing those inside
Shadow is parted, light shines illuminating pride
Look to your side, see those beside you
See those whose pride is tested and true
Prepared, made ready for this very day
Made ready and trained in that special way
Gaze forward, see the world in front
You smile knowing your blade is sharp, not blunt
As the trumpet sounds, it's time to go
In this hour strength is what we show
Step by step we move as one
Side by side until the day is won
The sun breaks through, darkness fades
The enemy's flee as they see our blades
Tested and made ready to fight
We lasted the siege and so ends the night
Breath deep, the battle calls
Rush their gates, break their walls
Our time has come, they begin to shake
We bent but soon they'll break
Stand strong, our time is here
Stand tall, our Lord is near
