Rating: 4.8

Time has peeled and dimmed that glow
What we have here is addiction, Dear
A habit enjoyable and difficult to break
But cigarettes are gone and now so are we

Great poem! So aptly depicting what love is not, calling it what it is, addiction. Great insight, intelligent ending. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
