Breaking Barriers Poem by JESUROBOOWIE GIFT IMAFIDON

Breaking Barriers

In a world where impossibility shadows reality
Dark clouds revolt against the day’s actuality.
An unsecured world governed and troubled by small minded people
Who refuse to see the bright steeple.
A black world
A dark heart,
A blank mind
A deaf ear,
A dead spirit
but from the dust we have come home,
Born from above.

We have come not to steal sheep but to grow grasses,
as earth beckons us with a welcoming song.
Like the stars, we shine forth,
To be highly celebrated and not merely tolerated.
the least of us is greater than the best of them,
Cos there is a new horizon to pursue.
With eyes open, over the sun
A world with shiny splendor we see.
As we chase the vision,
Their bounding ropes
We choose to burn with our aspiration.

Now to be the diamonds in the sky
To be chased everywhere.
Just like the shooting stars,
The heat of coal to endure.
As we dream the dream
Live the life
Break the walls,
Beat the pressure
And blaze the trail,
Cos in us the kingdom of heaven
Has finally come to mankind.
