Breakfast Musings - Poem by Martin O'Neill

We need to run tests,
The doctor said
To eliminate cancer.
But what, I thought
If we don't?
Eliminate it, I mean.
Does the cancer then eliminate
Me?
Now there's a cheery
Breakfast thought.
Pass the marmalade.
