Bread From Hell Poem by Obed dela Cruz

Bread From Hell

In the mouths of untrained ones I see bread from hell
Because their foolish tongues enjoy in its sweetness.
Its baker baked it with a flavor you can’t tell
Because its unique taste will bring you to its spell.

Nevertheless, abhor and abstain from that bread
For its seducing savor will make you restless.
Its spell’s purpose is to bind you until you’re dead
And if you’re still breathing it will make you so dread.

Campaign against that poisonous delicacy
Because it will kill you until you are lifeless.
Be charmed not by it or else you’ll taste false beauty.
Though it looks and smells good its real taste is ugly.

Tasting that bread will bring you to consequences
In which you can’t escape the taste of bitterness.
