Bread And Dogs Poem by ion untaru

Bread And Dogs

servant does not know his master
only when hungry;
he arrived to master all city;
who was against him,
ended his days in prison;
having no more
where to imprison subjects,
he demolished walls,
not to release them,
but to make jail larger;
then changed the plan,
surrounded the whole city,
with walls
not to defend the foe,
but to keep people locked in:
thick walls, some bread
and much dogs.
