Bound: That's Who They Are Poem by Maureen Alikor

Bound: That's Who They Are

When you do what you do,
they sit,
they stare and
then they murmur

When you cry all the tears you can,
they stop
just to watch,
they sigh and
move on

When you dare the feats they couldn't
they hate
they curse and
they swear

When you love as freely as you do
they watch
they watch and
they watch

When you smile like you have no need
they wish
they wish and
they still keep on wishing
