Borrowed Mind In A Borrowed Time Poem by Jona PoloRamirez

Borrowed Mind In A Borrowed Time

'The truth prevails over lies' J. P. R.

There was once a borrowed time that came,
A word conjured its meaning serve the moment,
A need to explore a borrowed place offered,
A chance to see but a part of the world.

Sweet words spoken before the moment came,
A truth hidden the mind to serve its end.
One mind an opportunist - another an earnest truth,
An almost perfect world two minds almost did pursuit.

The clear image a smile of a pictured moment,
The captured image behind its surface revealed,
The borrowed moment the spirit does really know
Is but a mind in a borrowed chance of a lifetime.

The borrowed moment spoke the real truth
The time of reckoning the borrowed mind spoke,
The search for truth - only the borrowed mind can prove
The borrowed time came back and revealed a hidden thought.
