Born Under A Star Poem by Lost River

Born Under A Star

Rating: 5.0

Do you remember the story, of the Bethlehem Star
There in that land long ago, and so very far
I know it is hard for us to see
To fathom or even believe

But do you remember, that day, there at Gethsemane
There at that place, for you and even me
Oh...Ohoo... And then, there again, at Calvary
There his life, for me and even thee

Now can we understand about that shining bright light
That glorious birth, for us to remember, for ever that night
Now you know why, His birth under a star

Our Saviour sacrificed, gave us everything, from that land afar
The Prince of Peace, taught how to love
Remember, to forgive, and how to pray, to Father above
His promised love

Has broken the chains, that surround our hearts
Love and tears and then floods, began to start
Washing, burning relif, for our souls
His promised love, made us completely whole
His promised love, has carried us just so far
Giving us love, and everything, even yet
Born in a manger, under that star

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
My friends, my family, without any opened or pointed complaining, within my life I have sampled much and have seen much, of how fleeting how so superficial the lot of the entire earth seems to be. I have wandered far in my search of finding something that I could count on.

So today I stop with great gratitude, of being part of the one thing that I had been searching for. My friends, my family the way to find what we count on, is from within. For within our homes, within our families, within our own souls, is the loyality of love. For I know now what it means to be bound together by love, by duty, by respect.

This love can only be found within the love of Jesus Christ. Love is the only thing that can be found or take place with the teachings of our saviour...

My friends let our families, help our families, let our homes be filled with love. Love for each other, love of the right things, for the right reasons, the gosple of righteousness, love for our
fellow man(which means all people) everywhere.
Let the love of our savior enter.... Because my promise is that when you help one another you end up loving one another...

Remember this test...
love given, will be returned with love....

hate and anger given, will be returned with hate and anger....

and one last thing...

Tears caused by love, do not sting like the tears... that are caused by hate
