Unwritten Soul

Born To Be A Winner

I left to be the last
Last one to know the meaning of win
Numbers always writing on my life
Though first place was not for me

Being the last is not the sin
To fly can't rely on broken wings
Break me not, I knew i was born to win
Don't conclude when it still at the beginning
Because i wasn't born for nothing

I am not just a small sparrow
Something in me, only me know
I won't compete with same others want
I fight for something i need
So i won't be in the fight
Only search for my life right
And to be the last one in the game
I don't live for any number

Out of my shell
Wider than the nest
I am beyond the distance
Fearless to try to learn how to fly
To against the strong wind
My eagle spirit moves my wings
I soar the sky till late evening
Though night hiding road to astray me
I found brave raven insight in me
Within, a white dove my soul free
Phoenix zest rebirth my victory
All i need is to be me
Outer my shell
Beyond my nest
And breakaway in any distance
But never forget to return

If i don't have a win now
And if my wings are broken to lift
Doesn't mean how the story will be ending
As conclusion never be made at the beginning
For our limbs take it as warm up for the winner's wings
To have spirits of four in one small body

I don't win to be the first
I win to claim what i want in wishing list

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Specially written to Ellias, my dear fellow..
Define the word of win, its not because of we running the same wants with people, but something in us that maybe differ
no matter it is, once u have it, you are the winner
Dear, you can be anything you want as long as you dont know how to give up a thing! ... you, me and all..we are the future maker! _Soul

A beautiful write! I like the flow and rhythm. True, winning is not at the beginning and you go to win what you want and you are not competing anyone, except your self. (Report) Reply

Sometimes you can lose and still fell like a winner. If you have the human spirit and the indomitable will to live your life your a winner. Try to be kind and never take more than you need your a winner. for your life that to mean something then your a winner. Nice poem I liked the theme BB : O) (Report) Reply

Captain A. there are somethings that i know.
well, i suppose that races and games only propose the goals to the other level of the life
or i can say that winning in life is a different thing.....with a laughing smile on the face you will leave the world, so you are the winner. but we have other sights of winning, like the common races and games and etc winning in them will bring proud and everybody like the feeling.
nice write Mr. Unwritten soul. respectful. (Report) Reply

    Once again Beautiful write Soul.
Being the first or last in race of life doesn't matter
but a hope always to stand in race really matters.
A winner is not seen from outside
but a winner is the one who feel he or she has won from heart....That really changes our life...Keep on participating the race and You are Born to be a Winner. Loved reading it. (Report) Reply
