Born In The Spirit Poem by Mary Wismer

Born In The Spirit

Rating: 5.0

Into the river I will wade,
There my sins are washed away
From the heaven's mercy stream,
Of the saviour's love for me.

I will rise from waters deep
Into the saving arms of God
I will sing salvation songs,
Jesus Christ Has set me free.

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine.
O what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born in His spirit, washed in his blood.

Perfect Submission, all is at rest,
I in my saviour am happy and blessed:
Watching and waiting, looking above,
filled with his goodness, lost in his love.

Perfect delight, Visions of rapture
burst on my sight: Angels descending
bring from above echoes of Mercy, whisper of Love.

What a wonderful poem you have written With words that sprung from the heaven, You truly have deep faith to the begotten. For this, you shall be healed and forgiven and be enligthened to sing in heaven. Thanks and take care. Cling to the Lord always. Love lots, melvin

Beautiful lyre, Mary and you said you cant write rhythm...you just did...but at the second stanza you combine it with allegory.
