Born At 20 Poem by Georgina Rogers

Born At 20

all remnants of memories gone
blinding lights filling my mind with awe
dry mouth thirsting for knowledge
new, new, everythings new
including you
your there glazing
with those eyes filled with love and tears
a thought, something's gone
i know i'm better without it
and the replacement is you
wonderful patient you
if only this was real
if only my mind was really lost
if only my eyes were filled with love
and if only there was only you

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A poem from when I lost the love of my life and found another. Hoping I could wipe anyway the memories if that time with others. It occurred to me maybe it would be easier if I lost my memory and how would my life be if it happened
