Boredom Relieved by Poetry

Sitting home alone
Bored as bored can be
Checking the news
Same old story
I write a poem to keep myself occupied
For a few minutes
It helps
I no longer feel bored
I'll write another poem soon
It helps me emotionally
Poetry rocks.
