Boom Boom Poem by Maheshwer Peri

Boom Boom

Boom Boom - They hit and shoot
'Target down' the soldiers shout
Out came a child, limping and crying
His parents are blown out in the shelling

Childhood down, smiles forever drowned
But still, the world only frowned
Strewn limbs, tears and blood all over
The gash is too deep with no cover

Is it all about land and freedom?
The winner bleeds less and loser more
Both will bleed! And they call one a victor
They are winning the battle and losing the war.
