Books And Stories Poem by Nicole Marcelino

Books And Stories

I flip through the simple pages,
Wondering through the thousand stages.
In this play, I play so much roles,
All of them having different goals!

Like the famous tale of Peter Pan,
Or the horrifying story of Frankenstein
Maybe a little touch of Robinson Crusoe
or perhaps the story of the Count of Monte Cristo?

Books and Stories are just like trains,
But ones that leads you to different games.
One by one, I see them all -
Those wonderful characters that calls!

Wonderful stories, characters and beasts,
They range, even from demons to priests!
Those wonderful friends and another me, I love them all.
Yet forever shall reality separate us for it is my story's magic wall!

I finish eyeing the pages as I close the book,
This tale had finally finished, together with the story I had took!
Though my adventure still lingered
as the book, I fingered!

The sky closed its curtains,
As the night had fallen, I am certain.
I go to bed, falling into a dreamless sleep,
But I knew for sure, tomorrow I will encounter a story so deep!
