Book; Killing Of Love Chapter 1

Rating: 5.0

'Darren' 'Darren', Angela whispering to her husband; trying to stay quiet so they wont get caught. she moved around the cold dank room until her eyes adjusted to the dark. she saw a figure in the corner, she quickly shuffled over to him. 'Darren' she whispered, tapping and shaking the figure. she shakes him again and he starts to grunt loudly. Shush, shush, bending down to his ear, 'the soldiers are outside looking for us we have to go'. Darren gets up to his feet and thinks of a plan but hesitates to tell her. 'whats wrong' Angela asks, 'you usually have a plan by now', Darren looks at his wife, grabs her shoulder and hugs her deeply. 'Darren, what are you thinking about doing'. 'I want you to sneak out the back and take the horse into the woods and don't look back', Darren said with tears in his eyes. 'NO'. She replies emotionally distraught.' There is only a dozen out there, Let Me Help You'. He grabs her and pulls her close but she reluctantly starts hitting him. He turns her around and kisses her, then looks her in the eye's and says ' Your pregnant, think of the baby'. 'I'm going to go out there and try and stall them, I want you to get out of here'. Angela looks at her husband and looks behind him at the window, she can see that the soldiers had ransacked the village and were closing in. She kiss her husband with tears streaming down he cheeks and ran for the back door. she opened the door and jump on the nearest horse and as she rode into the woods she could hear her husband death cry as he fell dead to the imperial army.
