Bonne Nuit Poem by Noreen Carden

Bonne Nuit

Rating: 4.3

Night comes,
spreading its velvet cloak
on the world
garish colour disappears.
A starry sky
display its charm.
The rising moon sails high
over empty fields.
As silhouette of tree and shrub
dance to its tune.
Only the nocturnal know its beauty
and its kiss.

@Noreen Carden, 'Only the nocturnal know its beauty and its kiss' - an eloquent expression of the nocturnal scene, loved the poem in its entirety. You haven't published any new poem on this site. Looking forward...
