Bongos beat
The day's defeat
Bum Bang Bum Bang Bum Bang

Those angels flew
Then broke in two
To burn below again

As if I'd swoon
For open wounds
That seems a bit shortsighted

What I'd not known
In time has shown
My heart alone: misguided
