Bondage Poem by Maryanne Richards

Bondage

Rating: 0.5

Desire leads the mind
In all its cunning ways.
All around the known it goes,
We see this while in a trance,
So the dance goes on.

Lift that veil of fear
And look into the eyes of bondage.
To stop the dance,
Step out of the trance
And dissolve those prison walls
For the moment, at least.

Seeing the truth,
That 'I' am the walls of my prison.
