Boko And Boro Poem by Ebi Robert

Boko And Boro

Rating: 4.5

Blood drunk thy lips
over thy teeth and kiss.
kneeling the fore-bean kneel,
over the souls thou kill.

Had thy heart find her place
after thou drain our blood and suck our vein?
Round us as rams sold for slatter,
after the sound finds its way.
Mounting a seize on our brains!

Verily on the mountain sold for slatter!
Earth on the mountain brings a break.

Rise a breaking of the break,
Surely a break after break!
Under a contest of power,
Sucking the blood of the state!

North, the gods power shift,
In a country made of many Kings.
gods-demi gave birth to suffering.

Earth upon Earth,
Rose the bombing of earth!
In a Country made of many Kings,
Arose a jihad for our head.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem is about the fight between the sect called 'Boko haram' which is in the tittle as 'Boko' and Goodluck's government which is called 'Boro'. The name 'Boro' is gotten from the Ijaw-Hero named Isaac Boro. Goodluck being an ijaw man is seen here as Boro. The poem is an acrostic talking about the suffering in our land. the word Islam is not used for mockery here, but as what those blood suckers use as a tool. Therefore i am not mocking Islam but Haram.

Let us not blame any other religion Ebi, The pages of history reveal horrifying accounts that the religions in the world have equally perpetrated while terminating the notion of smaller god/s as the native religions which proposed such a thing were without leadership, institutions, army or even funds.. Ebi, I am given to understand that in Africa your religious sentiments are hurt whenever the Muslims and the Christians fight against each other. The richer groups of the demographically divided sections have been resorting to conversion too from both the sides. Let us leave a peaceful life. But if you have a tale that is quite different from what we non-Africans are supposed to know, please tell it in a mild tone.. All the best Ebi

Nice poem. Its a pity that our nations is at throes of murders in the name of God. The problem is beyond an individual but a satanic siege against the land. We need to pray and be vigilant
