Body Quakes Poem by Lonnie Hicks

Body Quakes

I am so often seized in Moments Touch
yet fleetingly it escapes my mental grasp

I reach
but cannot hold
its treasure
its inspirations
they're you
coming to me
in the Instant's Eon
your hands upon me
as I escape the bounds
which have held me
yet I reach again
your voice soothing
til I feel it
feel it
feel it
body quaking.

I have not vision
because the body
does not see
it feels

quickening breaths;
Eternities Each
within Concentration's Depths
that is why I often visit here
with you my sweet
our secret
rendezvous
bodies melding
as real as a dream
exploding into reality;
you there beside me
dream you and I
now married;
joined now
in our erstwhile
reachings
our
sweet surrenderings
you spent
I
Exhilerazied
