Bodies Poem by Christian Allen

Bodies

Wrecked and vexed,
I called upon your mercy

Neck in neck, tastes of flesh,
Flash and dash, across my mind

Poison, ivory bottled
I'd drink you if you let me

I want to be into and formed with you,
A closest part, you and I one
First for myself I want to grip you, and test your form
I want to trial your desires, to exhaust your fire
I want to up your dose and relinquish my shell
I want to light you up and slowly chuckle as you burn with me between the sheets

Ripped from elses, and others and mothers and fathers
Ashamed but assured this is us
Complaining endings and limits I want you and I to be endless
Let the love trickle down past your chest, I'll let this simmer in lust
Smeared on the locked doorknob that will give us away,
Let's paint the pride we've left behind and the inhibitions that cage my niche within you
