Bob Snobbery Poem by robert dickerson

Bob Snobbery

Ok, cut it out, Bob Snobbery, you loach.
I know who you are
and I know what you're up to, too.

Bob Snobbery

I also know what your name is
and it almost rhymes with Snobbery.
That's why I call you
Bob Snobbery.

You compositeur
For you I wouldn't even use exclamation points.

Leave my pretty fish alone.
I don't want to see your face
behind those semi-translucent wings.
Nor your trim little goatee
in her mackerel's eyes
and I don't care how good your rubato-
Hands off my fish!

Just keep it up, Bob Snobbery.
The plague take your snobberyship.

Oh, but don't worry.
I won't say what your real name is
because it's not even worth it
Bob Snobbery,
no one cares.

So beat it, Bob
Snobbery, there's not room enough for two Bobs
in this neighborhood.
