Blushing Moon

I saw the moon blush last night
As I explained our love was right
It blushed then blinked
I thought it winked
To let me know
Our love would grow
As I pondered the moon
I heard a dove swoon
It calmly told me
That our love would be
Forever embraced
By the moon’s soft gaze
